This is a significant time. Over the last 100 years, many people have invested in the missions of Bethany First Church, Southern Nazarene University and the Swaziland church. The Swaziland Partnership marks a new day for each of these organizations. We believe this is a God ordained time for this strategic partnership; a coming together for a common purpose.
When we first began this journey of looking at Swaziland and the HIV/AIDS crisis, most of us were ignorant and apathetic about what was happening in our world. Now we have some knowledge and compassion. We don’t have all the answers, but we know we must do something.
Nazarenes have played an important role in the history of Swaziland. They not only brought the Gospel, but have been instrumental in developing the educational and health care systems for the nation.
The Swazi church is working as hard as they can and could use a boost to help accomplish all that’s on their hearts. We have a challenging opportunity to help this nation as they face the devastating crisis of HIV/AIDS. The Swazis are ready for partnership. May God’s hand be on all your endeavors on behalf of the Swazi people.
