We have a tremendous team of 22 volunteers preparing to go and serve in Swaziland in March. Dean McGee Eye Institute is sending another team of ophthalmologists to work with the Swazi Ministry of Health and local ophthalmologist Dr. Jonathan Pons. These doctors will be joined by Dr. Terry Hall, Dr. Doug Evans, and Dr. Cheryl Black. We have teachers, nurses, students, lawyers, and experts in construction. Rev. Mike Brooks, our University Pastor from BFC, will serve as our team pastor. Please join us in prayer thanking the Lord for this team of volunteers and their final time of preparation to serve.

  • "AIDS-Free Swaziland in One Generation"

Rev. Collin Elliott, our former Africa South Field leader, asked Dr. Terry Hall to provide a two-day seminar to all pastors and leaders about AIDS Awareness.  A video is being produced to be ready for distribution in March 2014 as Dr. Hall makes final preparations to teach pastors and other community leaders in three different districts with a seminar on AIDS awareness and prevention.  The video will be given to pastors, teachers, and other leaders in Swaziland so they can help share the message of prevention.

  • Manna Farms at Nazarene College of Theology

In 2012 planning began for a farm on the College of Theology at Southern Africa Nazarene University (SANU) in Swaziland, to help provide scholarships for their theology students. This school sits on 400 acres of land and only uses about 35 acres for their campus. Today, Manna Farms has harvested crops, increased beekeeping, and started the tilapia and aquaponics programs.
